He has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience in South Florida and serves as an Executive Vice President with Robb Capital.
Ben previously worked for Thomas D. Wood & Company for 12 years, first as a Mortgage Analyst and was later promoted to Associate Vice President. During his time at Thomas D. Wood & Company, Ben arranged financing for the acquisition and refinancing of multi-tenant/single tenant investment and owner occupied properties, and had more than one hundred (100) transactions committed and funded, with loan amounts typically ranging from $1 to $8 million. Ben worked arranging financing for institutional lending entities such as life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, as well as local and national banks.
Ben graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Florida International University and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Ben is also an active member of the Appraisal Institute and is pursuing his MAI designation. He also continues his education by regularly attending different courses offered by the Appraisal Institute: USPAP, Basic Appraisal Principals & Procedures, General Appraiser Sales Comparison Approach, General Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach, Real Estate Finance Statistics and Valuation Modeling, General Appraiser Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use, Income Capitalization Approach Part 1 & 2, and General Appraiser Case Studies and Report Writing.
